eMould was founded in Leicestershire in 1985. We are still in Leicestershire. We still do what we did then — make good plastic components for clients who need them done properly.
Our History
There are a lot of injection moulding businesses that have been through multiple owners, multiple names and multiple strategies. We haven't. eMould has been family-run from the start, based in Syston, Leicestershire, making components for UK and European manufacturers.
Over forty years, we've built up a capability set that most contract moulders don't have: in-house toolmaking, skilled hand finishing, packing and dispatch, and the experience to run recycled feedstocks properly. None of that happened overnight. It was built incrementally, because clients needed it and we could deliver it.
We have customers who have been with us since the 1990s. That's not a marketing claim — it's evidence that the work holds up over time and that clients don't need to look elsewhere. We take that seriously.
Our clients range from small UK manufacturers running specialist components to international businesses who use us as their UK manufacturing and fulfilment partner. The common thread is that they need a moulder who will treat their product as if it matters — because to us, it does.

The Facility
Our facility is at 9 Cross Street in Syston, Leicestershire — close to the M1/M69 interchange, which puts us within straightforward reach of the national carrier network and makes same-day or next-day UK delivery coverage achievable from here.
On one site, we run injection moulding machines from small precision work up to 560 tonnes clamp force, a toolroom for tool build and maintenance, a hand finishing and assembly area, packing and dispatch, and warehousing for call-off and buffer stock.
For international clients, the practical significance of this is that the distance between your component leaving the mould and arriving at your UK customer is entirely within our control. There's no transfer between facilities, no handoff between teams, and no gap in the quality chain between moulding and delivery.
